I always love looking at other drummers kits and the way that they lay things out . It seems to be pretty common anymore for even us drummers to have our own home studio set-ups of various caliber and thought it would be neat to see what kind of gear people are working with . I recently just started putting together another home recording set up for recording my own ideas and to have some recording gear available when friends come over to jam too .
Here's what I've put together so far :
1 Yamaha AW4416 recording console ( with flight case )
1 Toshiba Satellite L505 laptop
2 On Stage Mix 400 mixer stands ( 1 for AW4416 & 1 for laptop )
1 MXL condenser microphone ( with shockmount and pop filter )
1 Pro-Line boom mic stand
1 Pr. Beyer Dynamic DT-770 PRO headphones
1 Alesis QS6.1 keyboard
And of course my fully loaded Blastech kit complete with ddrum4SE , ddrum3 Turbo , and Yamaha DTX 2.0 modules .
I also just recently got the opportunity to check out the " Blaster " acoustic triggers from Billy Blast and am very pleased with the durability and performance I have seen so far from these triggers . I'm actually finishing up a few videos and some audio recordings that I did with these triggers on my Blastech kit , and then I'll get them uploaded online .
Here's a few pics so far :
