Hihat adjustment/ settings on DTXpress IV

Alright guys, I'm now a proud owner of a DTXpress IV after being a troll without a kit for such a long time. lol And of course it will take some time to tweak and get used to it. The main issue I'm having is the hihat. I was wondering if anyone could give me their optimal settings/ setup for theirs (RHH135)

Hi Jordan.
Congrats on getting a kit! :)
As for fine Hihat adjustments for the DTXpress IV, press the "Shift" and "Save/Enter" buttons together to get into the "Utility" menu, on the first screen that appears, try messing with the HHofs setting (page 16 in the PDF manual), this is a adjustment for adjustting the level of openess or closeness of the hihat.
As for optimal settings, there may not be such a thing, since each drummer has his own style and how he may hit the pads would dictate different settings for each individual.
It's a matter of learning what settings in the module do and tweaking the settings for YOU! :)
