I just couldn't resist doing another potential GAS episode in the making with this as the start . Got a little work to do on them with the dampeners on the underside of some of them . Couldn't beat the deal on them , and hey I needed a new drum project to work on :D . Now a few more cymbal arms for the rack system and these will have a new home .

Got a cool second electronic set-up in the making too with some of the red ddrum pads and a few other triggers that are currently on my kit . Think full scale hand percussion set-up . More coming soon on that one

Is there a China in that group? I'm curious as to how it feels. I've been meaning to get one.

Nope but I'm actually on the prowl for one or 2 of those . I set up a few crashes and I really like the overall feel of them so far . I am currently in the middle of a deal for a 3 zone ride that the same seller has . So that may be joining the line up very soon :D

They are "surge" cymbals (or better said... smartrigger makes Alesis' surge cymbals). I have 'em and like 'em. They are accoustically loud, but the do feel more like real cymbals than the rubber cyms do, imo.

Picked up the 3 zone ride . I'm almost finished up with re-applying the dampeners ( busy work schedule has side-lined getting them done ) . Grabbed up a bunch of DW boom arms too so they will sitting proud on the rack system .

The hand percussion kit is almost all done as well , so pics will post soon .
