Outdoor gig in Reno

Hey guys, if anybody happens to be in Reno, Nevada over the 4th of July weekend stop and say hi. Our band "RED HOT SMOKIN' ACES" will be across from the Silver Legacy Casino in downtown Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoons. We are headlining this year at the "Annual International Chicken Wing Cook Off". Don't laugh these folks are serious chickenwingers....okay LOLOLOLOl. I will be using my DM10 module.-dave:cool:

Crap. I'll be in Lake Tahoe the 6th through the 11th. I would easily drive over the hill to see your show. But it looks like I'll miss ya.

Maybe next time G. We'll be at the Atlantis late in August for a week. too tired to remember the date and my book is packed, but I'll let you know.

Our out door gig last weekend in Reno was great. Over the three days the venue had 3 bands providing 23 hours of entertainment. Our band did 15 of those 23 hours. It was in the 90's so lots of sunshine, one of the keyboard pedals melted. My drums were in the shade all the time so no problems except I stuck the beater through my mesh head 16" bass drum. No problem cause I always have my trusty Pintech ergo bass drum as a back up right there on stage. The Chicken wing festival was successful. They served 20,000 pounds of wings to over 35,000 people. Major gig and major fun. I have video and I'll try to post some tomorrow. peace.-dave
