Made another video:
YouTube- Alesis DM10: Messing Around
Just me, messing around. Kit 000-Fusion and Kit 106-Custom.
I haven't had a chance to do another cover. Been busy... soccer, new kitchen, oh and that job thing too.
Anyways, you're input welcome. Mostly curious as to what you think of the voices on Kit106.

Guiness, Very nice Video, I am wondering about an in depth review of the concert toms they have. I thought they sounded really good and would be a nice addition to my kit. Any thoughts on the concert toms samples alesis has??? Thanks, T

I could record all the Tom's, if you'd like?
(I'm curious... did you watch the whole thing? I'm wondering if 8 minutes is too long to keep one's attention? It did get kinda repetative, but then I thought the last 1/3 was the best (says the guy who's not that great of a drummer.) :) )

John -
No stuffed animals? Just a toy truck?! PFFFT! ;)
So you say the mis-triggers are your fault, not the DM10's...how so?
My personal opinion, yes if you're just demonstrating the sounds of different pieces of a specific kit then 8 minutes is too long. As far as the kit sounds of 106, for the most part I think they sound pretty good. I didn't entirely care for the toms. I felt like they were too closely tuned and not open enough. That's just me though...I just tend to like a more open sound.
Side comment...have you ever tried mounting everything up a little higher? It seems with how long your legs and arms are that it almost looks a little uncomfortable.

Ya.. the whole kit needs to be raised up. Good catch. When I changed the angle of the toms and snare, everything lowered. the right crash is too close too. I've been meaning to change it all up and will adjust height correctly.
Sorry for no new stuff animals. Maybe next time.
Mis-triggers... I haven't checked, but my re-trigger or xtalk settings must be too high. The kick, right crash, and snare all mis-triggered. I haven't had the chance to adjust settings to correct it. That's why it's MY fault. :)
