Hey guys,
I would like to tell you about a free editor for VDRUMS.
It supports TD-6, TD-10EXP and TD-12.
You can find it in http://jvdrums.sourceforge.net/

Hope you'll enjoy

Thanks for the reply guys.

evil1rox - did you download the last release? (1.1 alpha-1).
I own a TD-12 so my major tests were with this module.
Only yesterday I found that there was a bug when receiving data from a TD-10.
I think I fixed it.

Please let me know if you encounter any trouble.

Keep in touch

In truth I haven't tried it yet, but plan to this weekend when I do some revamping of my kit.

Quick update: this now works for the TD-8 as well... and does so well.

Will there be support for the TD-20?
Take care

Thanks Tom.
I guess I'll have to check it out when I get the hang of the module.
Take care

oh goodness...my complete ignorance is about to become known by all!

Okay...so I know nothing about what this editor is, what it does, why I should have/use it, nor how to make it work. I haven't really gone diving into my TD-10 (w/TDW-1) manual at all since I'm waiting for all new pads to arrive.

So I'm assuming this is software that I load on my computer...then I can connect my computer to my TD-10? Is that a 9 pin? 15 pin? a 25 pin? MIDI? I'm not at home in front of my module so I don't have anything to reference at the moment.
And will this software cause any problems w/VEx stuff?
I'm assuming I need to really get a full handle of how to navigate through the module before I try to tackle this. But any insight/suggestions would help.
