Well I can be the next to say I took the plunge. I sold my TD20 to a friend and have purchased the new Xtreme3 and the new RHH135. I will have a review up and quick instruction on how to add the RAM and whatever set up needs to be done with extensive pictures. T

Well Tom,

I just got off the phone with Erik at RMC. I may be following your lead... I'm just a little concerned about the rim triggering and never having made the Raper Circuit (If I understand correctly that's what I need). All be it, it doesn't seem overly complex. Still the same, too bad there isn't a work around.

Just thinking it may be nice to have the best of both worlds, a TD-20 and a DTXtremeIII.

By the way, I shot you a PM on the booms and informing you of this ;D

I thought "Arse" was only used in the UK :)

If remember properly it rhymes with "WASH"(warsh) in that part of the midwest too...doesn't it?

My family is from Illinois and they always said "warsh". Here is north Ohio it is a bit more nasaly-whiny like "waash".

Of course, I don't have an accent.

I hate to get this language diversion back on thread... But now I am researching the DTXTreme too.. And Yamaha's site - I cant' find and tech details about the thing. One thing about Roland, I can get any / all info I want off of their site - even if I did have to register, I downloaded all the module's PDF's..

Anyway, where can I find good tech specs for this bad boy? I feel Overlord has potentially infected me with a Yamaha bug..

(side note, if you can tell me where 'yins' is used, and what it means, I'll post a surprise)

Thanks!

Yinz is a contraction for "ye ones" and it is used throughout the south as well as western Pennsylvania.

I've heard it pronounced like 'you-ins', too.. it's basically is PA's answer to y 'all.. At least I always thought so. My mom said 'yins all' for about a year. (a total muck up of both...) BTW, I am a native Colorado (and so is my Mom!) and my Dad grew up in PA. But, it was my high school buddy from PA who got me using the term through out my HS years.

Anyway, that's a great answer. For my surprise posting, look in the pics for a new post from me.. ;D
