Hi all.
I sold my TD-20 kit Saturday night.
I emailed the new owner with the link to this forum so hopefully when he takes a breather from playing with the kit (in a week or two, LOL) he'll join in here with the fine eDrumForum crowd! :)
The gentleman that bought it was originally looking for a TD-12 kit so he's got a much better kit than he was wanting in the first place, this is a great thing, since this way he'll get that much more enjoyment out of it. To those who helped me while I had the kit, a great big thank you to you all.
Take care

Hi ER1.
Actually, I have my "Project WTF-2" kit still.
If I had a place to play acoustics, I'd gladly ditch all this electronic drum stuff, my true passion is with acoustics but I can't afford to get evicted! LOL.
My Project WTF-2 kit is Yamaha and Pintech based, it uses 2 modules.

As to what the future holds, I dunno, the DTXtreme III is tempting but right now I'm kinda skiddish as far as buying expensive edrum stuff, I lost a fortune (enough to pay for a brand new DTXtreme III module) on the TD-20 kit. So needless to say, my enthusiasm for eDrums took a serious hit.
Take care

So, out of sheer boredom I started looking through your WTF-2 project photos. I think my absolute favorite is the use of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" bath towel as a work surface! :D

HAHAHAHA... I never noticed that and had to go back and take a look.
It's one one of my girlfriend son's very old bedsheets, I just didn't want to scratch the top of the freezer, next time I'll have to use something like the Pet of the Year towel! LOL :D
Hmmmm, using a Pet of the Year towel to put drum stuff on would give the word "Tweaking" a whole new meaning. w00p! LOL :)
Take care
