Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you know that this is my daughter... She is extremely intrigued by drums and wanted to join. She's also loves music. Mostly progressive metal. Evanescence, Queensryche, Dream Theater, AC/DC, Judas Priest, My Chemical Romance...etc. I hope you don't mind. I will be keeping a close eye on her, as I am sure you will all agree it is required. She is a little shy and afraid to ask questions... Also, I do want to mention.... she is used to musicians, we have a couple of pro-musicians in the family that will remain nameless as I can't stand name dropping. Anyway, my point is speak freely and leave it to me and mom to explain right from wrong. I don't want anyone here to feel inhibited due to her presence.

@ Michael - Sorry she hasn't gotten back to you yet... it is partially my fault due to being insistant at being present when she is on forums. Hope you understand.

Joey, it sounds like you have a lot of the same interests as my son Jason. He is also a drummer and into some of the harder music. He is a big fan of My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Avennged Seven Fold, Iron Maiden, etc.

Welcome. I`m pretty new to this forum myself. You said you played the Sims. I was going to ask if you had the Simmons SDS 9 or SDS 1000 kit? I always wanted one of those.
