The Picture says it all.
DTXtreme III standard, the store I got it from also had a Special on a pedestal, not wired yet though, don't know if they were selling it or it was strictly a display model since the special isn't supposed to be available for another month or so (shrug)
I also bought 2 new pairs for sticks, the black ones are Carbosticks 5B (they didn't have any 5A) I have a set of these in 7A and love them, I just don't like the thin feel of 7A, the other sticks are 5B as well and are very light. The two small packages are Kinston DIMMs, these are fully JEDEC compliant and meet the specs set forth by Yamaha for the DTXtreme III, I'll let you know the model number of these DIMMS if they work.
Well, off to open the module box and try the module and DIMMs.
The Store I got it from just happens to be the same store I got my DTXtreme IIs kit and my DTXpress III kit, this was the only DTXtreme III in boxes in this city, it's the first time I get a boxed kit, all others were display models since that's all they had at the time.
Take care

Nothing like the sweet smell of eDrums in boxes. It smells like the promise of beautiful things to come. Enjoy!

Thanks guys.
Been at it all day, had to go back to the music store, they forgot to give me one of the boxes, all the drum pads were missing! Doh! :D
I have the rack built, the pads are on the rack but not adjusted for playing yet, nothing is wired yet, I just have the module on my table next to my computer, listening to some of the tunes in the module while I relax a bit, gonna go to bed soon I think, starting to fade here, been up almost 24 hours again.
Oh well, I guess I'm back to making payments again! LOL! :)
Take care

Hi Ron.
Right you are.
So far, I'm pleased with the new kit, I even had .mid files (some I recorded from the IIs) playing from a USB memory stick.
I recorded a couple of demos of two of the preset kits, I'm trying not to record the same kits as Tom is recording, more variety this way! :)
I'll upload them here as well. :)
Take care
