DTXtreme III view firmware revision.

I've been in contact with Yamahammer and got the information to view the Firmware revision screen.
By careful of the buttons you use while on the screen since I'm not too sure what some of the options do.
Here's what Yamahammer sent me.....
"Power on the DTXTREME III while holding down the [F1] and [SF6] buttons"
You have to hold these down for a while, the modules screen changes a few times and then you'll get the info screen.
My Firmware is revision 1.01.

Ironically I bought a second hat DTXtreme III kit off e-bay. On the second day of using t the module booted but just hung on the DTXtreme III screen. it was driving me mad and zero help on the net for this.

I did a firmware upgrade to 1.0.2 and hey ho, module now boots up with no issues at all...........phew

Hi Spides.
Kinda strange the module hung like that, I know that if you had some incompatible DIMMs installed, it could do that, just hang at bootup.
I'm glad to hear the problem was resolved with a firmware update though. :)
