Hi all.
For those of you who aren't aware, there is a website I created that hosts many drumless MP3 files.
These are the songs (without drum track) of the following Yamaha drum modules........
DTXpress IV, 3 and 1 (Thanks to Darth Fusion for the DTXpress I songs).
DTXtreme IIs
And just added today, The DTXtreme III songs.
These are the songs we pick from for the monthly DTX AllStar Jam held in the forum named "The Beat" at DTXperience but you can download these songs and play to them just for the sheer enjoyment of it.
The songs were recorded in this manner.....
6 seconds of silence at the start to give you a chance to get into drumming position after pressing play on your MP3 player.
a two measure click count in to set the tempo.
7 to 8 seconds of silence at the end for those recording themselves playing to these files, this gives you a chance to end the recording before the next song on the MP3 player starts to play.
Enjoy the website and the songs!
Here's the URL......

This is a very generous gesture of your time. I for one appreciate you taking the time to do this Jack :)

I am sure many others feel the same.

Now start using the damn thing, would ya! - lol

Thanks Jack ;D

Thanks for the kind word Ron.
I'm just happy it's all done, it's a very tedious process and very time consuming.
I wanted to get this done and out of the way before I start messing with the DTXtreme III.
So tonight, I may sit at my new kit with manual at hand and see what I can learn.
Anyways, again, thanks for the kind words :)
Take care

Thanks for the kind words guys.
My main reason for the DTX Songs Project was when we all decided to expand the DTX AllStar Jam to include all DTX modules, at first it was only for the DTXtreme IIs owners.
By having the songs in MP3 format, all DTX owners could join in. Unfortunately, the Jam's days seem to be numbered, it always seems to be the same 5 or 6 guys that enter, considering the amount of new members on that forum over the last few months, no one is giving it a shot to see how much fun it can be. This is getting somewhat discouraging. Oh well, time will tell what will happen to the Jam.
I will keep the DTX Songs Site up for as long as that free file hosting place will allow me.
Take care

What about us Roland users....can we use these tunes too? Or is this an exclusive club for Yammie users only?
;D ;)
