So what's with the site anyway? I get a little "notice" message when I click on shop and it's been there for a long time.
And the Visulites are the 'flagship' line for cymbals, right? But there's only one photo on there and it's not a very good photo. I'd love to be able to see close up photos of each cymbal.
Also seems kind of strange that there are 2 different tabs for products and for shopping. Wouldn't it make sense to just make it all one tab...I can browse products and if I want something I just click "Add to Cart" like most sites do?
Okay...I'm coming off like a constant whiner...and I don't mean that at all. I'm quite pleased with Pintech's products and their support (Lorrie has always responded to emails very quickly)...I'm just kind of picky I guess, so I get a person that represents the manufacturer and I'll just ramble on about everything that I think will make it better...even if that person has absolutely nothing to do with the subject (for example talking about wesite design with an R&D guy! ::))

So what's with the site anyway!
Talk about a personal point of contention. Our site has been driving me crazy. Unfortunately, although I do 99% of the customer support etc. I can't design a website so have been at the mercy of an IT guy with a regular job that takes precedence over redesigning our website.
Though, in our experience it appears that IT guys are kinda like construction workers, you know "yes, I will be there tomorrow and we should be able to get your job done in a week" Then 6 months later, " well we had supply issues etc, no worries will have it done by the weekend," Then 6 months later.......
But I am assured that when the new site and shopping cart are completed they are going to be absolutely fantastic. With all new pics etc. And I will be trained so I never have to depend on someone else to get my new products and pictures posted. Which will be a big help. The last IT guy designed the site to where it is extremely difficult/if not darn near impossible to make any changes which is why we are having to have it redone.

;) Thank you>I do try. And if your coming off as a constant whiner to my R&D guy, I hate to think what I sound like when I contact the IT guy every week, since last July, to see if the site is ready yet, and stress how much I need it to get done! lolol I even threatened to send Guido after him but he just laughs.
Oh wait, I just got to whine to a customer! hey, hey turn about is fair play! See you don't really want to get me started on here with my smart aleck sense of humor! Everyone will take back all these nice things they have been saying about me. Just ask Hal, I got you all fooled! :o

I do find the product descriptions / details somewhat lacking.. but then, I tend to download PDF's of manuals before I buy anything to look at all the specs.. I love PDF's and the web!

Kudos on the new site. It's SO much better. I had e-mailed Lorrie about a couple of other things and mentioned the web site. Having photos, manuals, videos is a HUGE help when considering buying anything. I bought a Roland TD-3 to start, and the videos for set up and Johnny Rabb ( I think it was) really helped me make up my mind to buy it.
If there isn't a dealer around so you can go try something, buying sight unseen/unplayed can be a little daunting.
That said, I have purchased a bunch of things from Brian of Hope Drums. I have loved all of them so far. Right now I am waiting for delivery on my first Pintech cymbal.
