View Full Version : Silent Trim?

I have used the old DIY method of buying windshield wiper tubing for rim silencer.
Which works good for about 30 minutes then i tear a hole in it.
I ordered some silent trim for my CC pads, which is heavy duty!!
My question is what is the best way to get them to hold? Should i tape the ends? Glue the suckers down?
Any info would be great

I use UFOdrum rim condoms by Mitch on all my Pintechs. If I did use the Pintech silent trim, I'd probably glue the ends together with a gel superglue (but that's just me). Good luck whatever you do ;) Wes

Man wes those pads are purdy!!
I did a combo of both suggestions and put the trim on right!!! (Ehh Hum..i was putting it on backwards "P)
Put a shot of superglue on the ends. That baby isnt coming off!!!!
I am off to play with DFH!!!

Thanks fignewton. I purchased those two black Pintech AX14's from Rogue/Axe Grinder/Ron and gave them the metallic red treatment. Sure makes a visual difference from the old silvervein shells. Wes
