Sorry I haven't been around lately guys...kinda been in a rut. I've been working with the Alesis DM Pro for a new video and I have come to the conclusion that I hate this damn thing! It is not very user friendly!
I did pick up some new double bass pedals, the Duallist D2. I'm not a double bass player, but I fell in love with their light weight and fast action...
Gearing up for Summer NAMM in a few weeks, in Nashville, it ought to be fun!
I actually did some fishing with my daughter this afternoon....it was too hot, so going early in the morning!
I have to express my kudos to the guys at Toontrack....I was having some issues with EZDrummer working with Vista. Everytime I logged in, I had to use my user authorization code and Claustraphobic wouldn't even load, it didn't recognize my authorization code....after posting on their member forum, one of their programmers contacted me. For some reason the log file that was supposed to be writting on my hard drive didn't exist. They sent me like 4-5 different .dll program versions until they got one that would write to "Documents", then with it, they were able to find the problems. I now have it up and going. I haven't had time to hook it up to my kit and I/O yet, but just messing with it on the screen, it looks like everything is working!
Well....I guess that's about it....talk to you guys next month ;D
