KD8s and the Trigger IO

Due to a recent garage sale, i now have tons of space for my kit.
After setting it up, i decided to go completely Trigger IO and not hook up my TD8 as my MIDI interface.
I use 2 KD8s as my kicks with a splitter cable going to each pad, in my new config i cannot trigger my secondary KD8.
Pulled out the manual, checked my settings, and now i am stumped. From what i can tell i am getting something on the IO, when i hit the pad i get lights, just no sound. Checked my MIDI note, and scrolled through different settings, and nada
Any ideas?

I had that happen to me the other day, too.. bass pad, too.. I pulled it off, pulled it apart, checked wiring, and everything.. tested it in its disassembled state, everything worked ok.. put it all back together, and same thing.. Checked for a loose cable plugged into the IO.. well, I use a splitter, too, and the cable was kinda loose into the splitter.. :( Always check cables.. Try a different cable.. New cable still there..

Started going through the IO settings.. AHA!!!!!
My bass input was set to PS (piezo / Switch). My drum pad that was bad was the secondary, and set to switch, and dinnae work so well.. Doesn't make much sense, but I set it to PP and all was good!!

Hmmmm...should I give or take a whuffie for playing Mario Kart instead of your drums? Ah well...I guess I can't point fingers...I've spent many hours playing Call of Duty 4 instead of beatin' the sticks.
