Hi,
Really would appreciate any help ??? ???

I am using a Roland TD-3 brain with ddrum triggers and want to some how link/talk to one of my drum machines (both MIDI capable) so I can program percussion sequences and play along with them in my band.
Any help would appreciated.

Hey Max, wish I could offer some help, but I can't say that I really know all that much about it, particularly the TD-3. However, as I'm aware most modules have the capability of triggering an event via MIDI, such as telling your drum machine to begin a sequence. I mean, it's just a simple message, right? When trigger A is hit, begin sequence....when struck again, end sequence (or whatever you want). It's definitely going to take some reading on your part and probably a certain amount of trial & error, but I'm sure that what you're describing can be done.

Thanks for the reply. It seems easy, right? ??? Anyways, your comment about "reading on my part" says alot.... Need to break out some MIDI books from the 1991 midi class! Talk about old skool.... :D :D
Anyways, thanks again.
