First, to give you a glimpse of what I have to load and unload for gigs:

Next is the rack setup. I had to stitch a few pix together since I somehow lost my wide-angle lens for my camera; I still have no idea where that disappeared to!

And here is the complete kit:

And the pedal layout:

Hopefully this Spring when the weather breaks I can set up outside to get some better pix. Alot of the detail is lost when taking pictures inside with a flash. If there is a view of the kit that you would like to see, ask and I'll snap another picture.

This kit has been an on-going project for close to 15 years. The only piece that I have left to add is a SPD-S sampler that will take the place of the Temple Blocks on the left of my kit.

Some further details:

Acoustics:
Tama Artstar Custom drums
Tom sizes: 10, 12, 13, 14, 16"
Bass drums: two 22 x 16"
Snare: Tama Starclassic 5.5 x 14"

Electric:
Roland TD6V module
One Pintech Nimrod, one Dingbat and two K3 Ergokiks
Six 10" Custom V-drums
One 14" Custom V-drum

Cymbals:
A lot of Zildjian cymbals

Total kit weight: 335 lbs
Approximate time to set-up/teardown: 70 minutes

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful kit.
Something to be quite proud of, even though it's a lot of work to haul around, you must get many comments at gigs about how great your kit looks.
Very nice indeed! :)
Take care

I do get comments, but it's great to listen to people's reactions as I'm setting up. We usually play at a restaurant / bar and there are people eating there while were setting up in the afternoon. Most automatically associate many drums with lots of noise!

I know this may sound silly... But, when all is said and done (all setup) do you happen to know what the size of your kit is front to back, side to side? Don't go out of your way to find out. Just if you happen to know.

Thanks :)

No problem! After a quick trip to the basement, the footprint is 6' wide by 5.5' deep. That is one of the biggest advantages to the drum rack; no tripod stands extending further out from the kit.

That's got to be a tight setup. Mine's at about 8x6 wish I could get it down to that... think it's my rack doing the damage - heh

Based on the pics it would appear your kit is actually larger than mine. Maybe there is hope to scale mine down yet - lol

Thanks for the info, S:C :)

P.S. Are you including the walk through behind the kit?

The right side (drummer's left) is 8" shorter than the other side, so there is a little bit of a walkway.

Here's the best I can do at an overhead shot. I'm still planning to set up my kit outside for a real pic when the weather breaks.
