Gave them a try and they didn't work for me, but they may be just what your looking for.

I received my Blastech 14" meshhead yesterday, but like the Hart mesh I could not get it to fit over my wrapped Pintech AX-14's fl toms. It did fit my DIY wrapped snare, but I didn't care for the increased noise level of his mesh material or the dampened triggering under the black circle. Guess, I've been using Pintech mesh for so long that I've gotten used to their sound and feel. Was hoping to switch from black mesh to white mesh, but it appears not to be the case. Oh yeah, someone at Blastech needs to inspect the circle cutter, as the black circle material wasn't quite in the round (quality control?).

He does offer them at a very nice price ($16 plus shipping for the 14").

Thanks for the review Wes. I have the same problem with the Hart heads. Very tight fit on wrapped drums.

Ron,

The Harts and Blastechs aren't a tight fit, they won't fit at all over the wrapped AX14's. They do fit my acoustic 16" kicks, the 12" acoustic tom and the 14" acoustic snare. The Pintech mesh will fit over all of them. I even thought about taking the purple wrap off the two AX14's and applying the purple sparkle spray treatment to them, like the 1-12" and 2-8" Pintechs. That would be a total bummer though. Hahahahahaha
