Hello all,

I have a DTXtreme IIs kit, two of the pads are no longer working correctly (I don't doubt it's operator error)

1st - the #1 tom lost the Rim triggers, only the main pad works/worked. - I do not remember making any changes prior to this happening except downloading a couple kits off a card.

I moved it to the #4 tom and life went on.

now, the "new" #1 tom(was #4) is having the same issue after working ok for a while.
and on occasion the (main) pad double triggers (tom and tamborine) when struck.

I am at a loss, I went through the book, and fiddled with the settings to try to undue the issues - I know the two toms are differnt part numbers, but....

any ideas, similar problems, suggestions, repair info...???

Sal,

Have you done a "factory reset" to determine if that will fix the zone issue?

Just remember a "factory reset" will erase all changes to user kits you have saved. WW

Sal, Make sure each pad in the brain has the trigger settings set to tp100. This will probably do the trick and like Wes said try a factory reset. If the problem persist we can try the pads on my xtreme 3. T

You could make sure the leads are in correctly, it's not a defective lead, or clean the jack with a little switch cleaner

I have cleaned the connections, but not done a factory reset, I will do so asap.
I will also chck to see that the pads are set to tp100 and advise

thanks

factory reset did nothing to rectify the problems...swapped leads, cleaned leads, still no change...the pads are set to tp1....the problem(s) definitly follow the two "bad" pads as i move them or the leads around..
