I'm not a member of that other forum you mentioned but have been around eDrums for about 3 1/2 years. I'm one of those (I know I know, boo now, LOL) Yamaha guys! LOL :)
I'm not a DIY'er but have great respect for those that are and the great ideas they come up with! :)

You HAVE been busy. Sounds great. And all that sound on those evil electronic drums.
I went to a music conference recently where they actually said "with electric drums you might as well throw a rock at them as hit the with a stick. It all sounds the same." I did, of course, correct them publicly.
