Been hard at work after I get home from my day job getting my expanded layout of my kit done . A few months back I put some pics up of my current layout I've been playing , but then GAS struck again and I grabbed up a slew of ddrum gear including a ddrum3 module . I just got everything laid out with mounting all 3 modules on my rack system today , and this is gonna be a fun set-up to sit down to when it's done . I added some more ddrum cymbal pads too . I should have the layout put together the rest of the way this weekend and then some pics will be uploaded .

I was really comfortable with the layout I had before adding this new gear to the mix , but with the deal I got on this ddrum stuff I had to snag it up . :D

I'm just finishing up some stuff and then I'll get some pics up . It was bit of a process to get all 3 modules mounted safely ( being the weight of ddrum3 module ) and also it still be accessible , but I'm really pleased with the way I got things set up . Usually when I add things to a kit I try to experiment with the most natural location I can on the layout .

I hear you Sam. In one corner of my family room sits my "Purpetrator" kit.

In the other corner sits two 22" kicks, 12/13/16 toms, two 14" snares, a new DW snare stand, two PCY-150's, four PCY-10's, one RHH-135 hi-hat, numerous cymbal stands, rack tubes/clamps, a DW 7000 pedal, mesh heads for all and a box of Pintech triggers, all screaming at me to do something - hahahahaha. Just not sure what it is I want to do though?

G.A.S. is a bitach! WW

PS: Can't wait to see what you've come up with.

Sam, Very nice, I have always wondered how good the ddrum products were. Thats a great looking kit (I love Billy's 2 ply black heads). I hope we can hear the new module added in and listen to the kit as a whole unit. Thanks again for sharing, T:)

I agree I started adding some pads and the ddrum4 module to it in 2008 , and I kind of dug what it looked like with the black rack and the wood shells of the Blastech's . When I added the new ddrum pieces it was like a color splash and I was amazed how it all pulled together and looked pretty cool .

Thanks man ,

Yeah I got the chance several years back to sit down to my first ddrum4 module and I've had great experiences with them since then . The ddrum3 module is very impressive and the quality of the sound samples is really amazing . I'm actually gearing up for 4 days off from work for the upcoming holiday weekend , so I'm gonna spend some time getting some videos shot of the whole kit in action . I know what you mean about the 2 ply black mesh heads , the action on them is great and believe it or not they've been on the kit for about 2 years now .
