A while back I gave a friend of mine a copy of my smart media card with the original Zep kits with samples. I copied it directly from my card to his. It apparently worked fine until he had some trouble with 2 of his TP100's. He did a factory reset and when he went into his C kits the zep kits werent there any longer. I looked at the card last night and everything seemed to be there, the samples were there and they loaded during power up. I am thinking I am missing something in one of the folders or do we need to redo the kits and save them back to the card?
Thanks for any help you guys can give me on this, Tom

Hi Tom.
Since both modules have been recently factory reset, and his card works in your IIs, I would compare the settings between your IIs and his, make sure all the settings are right.
Maybe there's some obscure setting (The IIs has many of these) that isn't allowing the sampled kits to be loaded on his module. Alvis would have a better idea since I used sampling very little. Also, were you using his card or your copy of his card? if your copy of his card, many a file or something got corrupted somehow on his card. Did your friend ever install the last firmware for the IIs?
I hope you can get the problem resolved.
Take care

Hi Tom,
The reset did clear all the voice assignments for all the kits. Hopefully one of you stored that info to a card at some point. Look in [UT22] for a "onekit" Zep file and load it back. That would be best. If not it could be an "allkit or "alldata" file. Careful with the all data because it will overwrite anything you have done on the module since the reset. What zep kit was it ? The one you got from Tom Griffin or the one from Ohgarboy? Anyway both those files are still over at DTXperience somewhere. I`ll help you search them out if you want. I hope you don`t have to reassign all the samples. Let us know how it works out or if you need any more advice.
Alvis
It's all good now, had to reload the files on the card into the DTXtreme/volume/"zep-1" sub file.
