Sup y'all,

I see it's required that I introduce myself so let me give this a good try. I'm a DJ and Producer. I specialize in progressive soulful underground hip hop and electronic music and I developed a very strong interest in e-drumming through the virtual instruments I use in my production arsenal such as BFD and Superior Drummer.

Thanks guys, I look forward to being apart of this community. As of Wednesday I got my Alesis Performance Pad along with two Boss FS-5U footswitches to act as my pedals. I shot my first test run within half an hour of getting it setup and establishing the midi mapping . Please keep in mind this is my first time testing out the pads and working with the footswitches which tends to slip around on the hardwood floor, so I'm a bit sloppy but I'm having fun with the performance pad. Hi Pete and welcome to the forums.
Looks like you found a new toy, looks like your having fun in the video with it and that's what it's all about.
As for the problem with your pedal (footswitch), maybe get a small carpet (area rug) at Walmart or something, put velcro under the pedals and stick it to the rug, park your chair on the rug as well that way the rug doesn't start moving as well! LOL :)
Good luck and enjoy the Alesis! :)
Take care
