Hey guys,
Is it possible to use a hi hat stand on the DTXplorer? I want to be able to have a hi-hat that I can open only slightly, and from what I think from the DTXplorer it's either fully open or fully closed. Something like the Roland VH12. Anyone know? Thanks!

A roland vh-12 won't work with the yamaha module....not sure about the RHH135 with the xplorer....I'm pretty certain it works with the xpress IV...you might want to go check out Dtxperience.com and look in the xplorer threads for this....

Will go check. Hopefully I find a thread on it. Forgot that the Yamaha made one too.

Just looked at the the manual for the RHH-135. Looks like it'll work, but one of the features aren't compatible. I think it was hitting the bell. Anyways, I think I may upgrade the module first, then the hi hat. Thanks!
