I began building some kits from samples, I added the samples and assigned them to pads (went smoothly with the well written tutorials I had in my hand) but the one thing I noticed was the samples did not sound correct at all. They sounded out of pitch and not at all like the samles I had purchased. My intentions was to load 4 samples per pad but I stopped after installing until I can figure out where to go so I can match each layer in pitch. Any suggestions on how I can get each sample back to its original pitch and to add layers at the correct pitch?

Hi Tom.
In the voice menu, when you chose the sample and issue it to a pad, make sure the pitch setting (Tuning on the first screen under the voice menu) is set to +0.00
Otherwise, it will change the pitch on your samples as if they were internal voices, that can come in handy also, but it can be a pain when you don't want your sample messed with, I would imagine all settings in the voice menu will have affect on the final outcome of your samples, when layering, each voice can be edited separately I believe, so make sure each sample in the layer have tuning set to +0.00
