Ocean way has a couple of free kits available for free download on the DTXtremeIII front page at DTXperience. http://www.dtxperience.com/dtxtremeIII.php
It says download 10M from the site. I did that but the files don`t work for me. Maybe I downloaded the wrong files. They look like MotifXS files maybe. It says they are DTX format and load to RAM. If anyone is able to load and play these kits please fill me in on where I am going wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The kits are supposed to be at multiple velocities on one note# and I want them and maybe buy some more if they sound as good as VST does. Thanks, Alvis

Dang it Alvis...you beat me to the punch on announcing this on eDf...lol....I am in the process of downloading kits....will let you know how it goes....you may have downloaded the wrong file...just an FYI also...they are also offering a "Sonic Reality Drum Masters DTX Studio Kits 5-Pack" for the DTX III module for the price of $79.95....kits include:
Blues Kit: Vintage Gretsch drum kit recorded with snares in a medium sized room in a Nashville studio. Organic, crisp and full sound ideal for blues, rock, country and other styles includes bonus extras like a Yamaha Sub Kick mixed in for extra depth to the bass drum and more.
Classic Rock Kit: A DW Pacifica “Classic Rock” drum kit recorded with snares in a unique stone live room with a Yamaha Sub Kick. This kit has a unique edge, with a higher pitched snare that cuts through the mix. Great for classic 1970’s and 1980’s rock.
British Kit: General purpose vintage “British Rock” drum kit recorded in a Nashville studio in a medium sized live room. Raw-sounding kit blends retro and modern rock.
Motown Kit: Gretsch drum kit recorded with snares in a medium sized room in the same style as classic Soul and R&B records from the 1960’s and 1970’s.
Yamaha Jazz Birch: Yamaha Jazz Birch drum kit recorded in a Miami studio during Drum Masters sessions with John Blackwell (Prince, Justin Timberlake). It also features a Yamaha Sub Kick for getting deep bass tones ideal for hip hop, R&B and pop as well as an organic jazz sound.
I think this is great news for us III owners....

If he does Alvis, he'll become the new "module master".

No doubt about it, Wes. It`s a heavy title to carry but I know Scott can handle it.

Hey everyone...I got the file to work....however I think there may need to be a little tweaking to do....as two of my drums and two cymbals are not loaded on kit....sounds are stacked/layered....several, as in more than 5 on snare....three on toms....two on bass...it definitely shows/has promise....just make sure you download the right file...
Go here: http://dtxperience.com/dtx_store/frameDTXPANSION.html .
...then copy PROMO-OWDTX (to redeem free offer)....then click..."Follow this link".....
once page opens, paste PROMO-OWDTX in redeem here box and click redeem...although before you do this you will have to create an account...
once you have created an account and redeemed coupon..a page will open called downlaodable soundz.com...scroll down until you see DTX sounds download card...below it you will see the Ocean Way Drums DTX “Kit 10m” download button..... click and wait for download to complete...with it will also come a user manual...make sure you read it first..as it will give instruction on how to open kit.....Good Luck and have fun!....also almost forgot.... kit takes over three minutes to load!.....BTW, Alvis you're still the man!!..

Then Alvis, I'll still refer to you as the "module master" and until Scott can snatch the memory chip from your open palm (Kung Fu reference alert), he can be "module grasshopper" - hahahaha
Your doing great things with our module Scott :O

Got it working now, Scott. Thank you very much. I must have had my head up my ass ( not uncommon) and downloaded the MotifXS file.
Special Note: This is an "alldata" file. The module loads the last Alldata that was loaded at startup. Make sure you save your own "alldata" file before loading this one. Your custom user kits and trigger settings will be lost if you do not.

Wes, LOL. I don't know? Scott has gotten realy good with the DTXIII. I think he could be the master.
Scott, I got one kit right? I think it needs a little tweaking though. I like the multiple velocities. Some of the kits we have built sound just as good or better though IMO. Need to check into it more before I fomulate an opinion though. What do you think?

Yea, Alvis...it's just one kit....I really like the toms!!!...snare sounds good but I'm gonna tweak it some for more sensitivity and light stroke sounds (if that makes sense..haha)...bass is also very good...I don't know if you read the news on the other kits that you can buy but they also look like they are gonna be real nice....:)

is the Phil Collins and Bonzo Kits rerady for purchase yet? i saw them listed on the DTX site but I am unsure if they are released yet? I will buy them if they are available. T :)
Anyone know if the kits will work with an IIs? maybe with little creative editing?

Scott, Sorry if you lost any data with that .T3A file. I didn't know they were going to use an alldata until you had already loaded it or I would have said something. Good thing I talked you into sharing your user kits so you won't have to do all that again. That's where 90% of your work is. All you lost were trigger and utility settings. I learned the hard way years ago on the IIs to be very careful with an alldata file. I'm sure you can put it all back together soon by yourself but I'll be glad to help if you need it. Alvis :(

Thanks Alvis....fortunately I had an Alldata file saved @ 4 shared...it's a little old but I loaded it and actually my older user kits didn't sound too bad....I will probably have to tweak master effect...but that shouldn't be too hard...while I'm writing about it...do the user kit files I've saved/sent contain that data?

Yeah, The .T3E file has everything you did to the kits in drumkit mode. Trigger mode and utility mode settings are not on the .T3E.
