VST help

Hi all! This is my first post (lots of lurking and learning)

I have a DTXtreme IIS kit, a Toshiba Satellite laptop, and I will soon have EZ Drummer.

Questions:
1) Is EZ Drummer stand alone?

2) can I plug my module right into my laptop via the USB connection? I also have a MIDI to USB cable as well.

3)Any other helpful information is greatly and humbly appreciated. i'm eager to try out the VST stuff....I'm just not sure if all I have is enough.

Sounds like your ready to go USB from DTXtreme 3 to Computer. Reads EZ drummer as a sound module... Pretty simple...Good luck...
