Just wanted to share a few pics of my new custom built toms that just arrived today , and that will shortly find their way to my drum rack with the others in the heard . After a tough day at work with it raining all day these put a :D on my face as soon as I opened the box . These are built from Keller VSS maple shells just like my other ones on my kit . I sat one of these new ones beside one of the others that was built back in 2007 and they match perfectly .

Thanks guys ,

It really made my day today to unwrap them when I got home from work soaking wet from it raining all day . They seem to be allready getting along nicely with the others in the Blastech herd :) . I figured tonight was the night they get formally introduced to the rest of their relatives , and then tomorrow after I get home from work starts the mounting process on the rack . I picked up some more ball n' socket mounting arms and they had Pearl icon rack clamps included so if anyone needs some rack clamps for an Icon rack I'll cut them a good deal on a set of 4 of them .

Great Sam! Now I'm going to have to purpelize my two 14"x22" Pearl fiberglass kicks to keep up with you. Someone needs an intervention and now - hahahaha WW

Thanks , the only thing I'm finding that I'm missing on my kit is something with Purple sparkles on it ;) ( see Wes's kit )

Thanks Tom ,

I'm very pleased with how well they match with the other drums on my kit and yes I agree the classic Slingerland lugs are one of my favorite components on these drums .

Thanks Phil , Yep I'll be getting up some new pics soon . Everything is coming together nicely , and I didn't even have to break out the power tools for some more customizing to the rack system

Haha ! you guys are killin' me . Just a bit longer and I'll get some up . I honestly thought about calling in sick today to spend the afternoon getting the new toys mounted up . I don't think new drums qualify as an excusable absense from work though . Anyways I got to keep the income flowing for whatever GAS may bring next .

It can be alot of fun , but you gotta watch out for GAS . It's like a bad rash and just spreads around to various areas of an e-kit :D
