Which cymbal triggers are acoustically the quietest in your opinion?

Which cymbal triggers are acoustically the quietest in your opinion?

The newest Yamaha cymbals (PCY135, PCY155, RHH135) seem to my ears to be the quietest currently available...just a little less stick noise than their roland counterparts...and of course quite a bit cheaper!:)

I've tried Yamaha, Roland and Pintech.
Acoustically, I'd have to say they are all very close, I think the case is more the pitch they put out, I've used a Pintech ZB series cymbal, those sound like hitting a Rubbermaid trash can lid, the Roland and Yamaha are similar but I'd have to say Yamaha is a little quieter but not by much.
Take care

I would go for the cymbals that feel the softest if you are searching for the least amount of acoustic noise. I agree with what has been said previously. The Yamaha rubber products seem to be softer than the Roland pads but its close. If you feel both pads you can tell which is softer to the touch. Good Luck with your choice, Tom

Thanks for the answers!
I have a few pcy65's which can be quieted down with the Sound Percussion mutes very
nicely. I have also 2 Pintech PC's which seem to be quite loud and stay louder than the PCY65's even with the mutes. The rubber dampener is very thin on them.
I can put more towels/foam/rubber/whatever on them though due to the different triggering mechanism and (probably) higher sensitivity.
As far as softness, I thought the Simmons cymbal pads had the softest rubber coating on them among the ones I tried. I didn't like the Roland pads.
Does anyone know what type of rubber those mutes are made of, btw?
Also, what's a good place to get PCY135's in the US?
