Hi Michael, First of all Welcome to the Forum. I havent tried either but DDrum has a great name in EDrums. I have tried the Rolands and the Pintech's and both performed extremely well. I would also look at Yamaha's line of triggers as they are reasonably priced and perform flawlessly. Tom

As far as external triggers go, Ddrum is the way to go. The pro line series are built like a tank and bang for the buck the Ddrum RedShots arent too shabby either.

Not to confuse things farther but have you looked at Billy Blast triggers?

I have not used them personally but, I have heard of no problems with these triggers. The price isn't bad (considering) either.

Agreed!...but only the pro-line series (the ones with XLR outputs)...great triggers and very well made!
