I see them on sale at various sites, but I never read any mention of them out here. Good or bad. What's the story?

I use Hart mesh heads and hammers. I'm very happy with their quality construction. From what I've read from other Hart drum/cymbal owners is their very satisfied with their Hart kits. Since Hart doesn't make a module and most seem to use Roland modules with them, I'm assuming most drummers just go with the Roland pads too. The only negative comments I've read is Hart drums don't play well with the DTXtreme II module. I don't know about the DTXtreme III module. WW

Shortly after I got my very first eKit (DTXtreme IIs) I found the Hart website and got really interested in their stuff, I sent off a email asking them if their stuff would work with a Yamaha module. Their reply was that "no, it wouldn't" they were supposed to be testing their stuff with Yamaha modules at the time to see if they could make it work, I never heard back from them. I don't know if their stuff will work with the DTXtreme III module since it seems to be a lot more user friendly with 3rd party mesh head pads than any previous Yamaha module, but I wouldn't be willing to spend that kind of money just to find out.
Take care

I have a Roland TD6 module and I'm using a HDI hithat. I found it really awesome.

You might have noticed that I sold Wes a Hart Multipad, when I first received it I called Hart to inquire about settings for the Multipad. I was told that the Yamaha line of modules were too complicated. They never changed their web site to reflect anything other than testing. Consequently I never looked at another product again.

I hear that their products work really well with Roland drum modules.

Their magnum heads were awesome so they discontinued them.

So in other words...they didn't want to take the time to learn the module....surely, they must be referring to the IIs and I module....to me the III is much more user friendly:)

I would also think that they must be referring to the DTXtreme modules ( I & II in particular ) . I used my Hart Multipad a few years ago with a yamaha DTXPRESS module and the settings were not to bad to dial in on it . I also have a few Hart Hammers and am extremely pleased with how well they work with various modules I own . I have used the e-cymbals in the past and even their series X wedge style cymbal triggers and have always had good experience with them .

It was a few years back but I dealt with Tim Prescott over at Hart for some re-triggering on some used e-cymbals I had bought and the experience was very professional and done in a very timely manner . When there's a certain level of quality in a product you for the most part tend to be more understanding if there are some delays .

There's a somewhat similar reference that is made to ddrum's product and the fact that they were never in a mainstream limelight . I can honestly say that ddrum's electronic gear is some of the best , and most reliable modules and pads that I have used in over 20 years of being an electronic drummer .
