dtxplorer add ons

hey guys, first post here.

i got my yamaha dtxplorer a few days ago and love playing on it, just wondering if i can add another cymbal (splash) onto the kit.

i also would like to know if i could use a 2 or 3 zone snare? would i need a new cable?

another other tips or tricks with this kit would help, thanks!

Welcome Nick, I think you can add 1 or 2 pieces to the kit. I am sure one of the guys who know that module can confirm or deny this. Again welcome to the forum. Tom

3 zone = 1snare (you'll need to use a stereo cable - two rings)
2 zone = 5ride and 6crash (stereo cable - two rings)
1 zone = 2tom/3tom/4tom/hi-hat (mono cable - one ring)

8kick9 can be split into two 1 zone pads with a y-cable (like the Hosa YPP-117 posted below). You can have your kick sound and the splash with an added pad.
